The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
Eastern Kansas
Far western Missouri
* Effective this Thursday morning from 105 AM until 700 AM CDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 75
mph possible
Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible
SUMMARY...Multiple clusters with embedded supercells may further
consolidate and merge into a broader MCS across eastern Kansas
through the pre-dawn hours. Damaging winds should be the primary
overall threat.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60
statute miles east and west of a line from 60 miles north northeast
of Manhattan KS to 20 miles southeast of Chanute KS. For a complete
