The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 224
continues.

SUMMARY...The threat for at least isolated hail and wind will
continue into the overnight.

DISCUSSION...Convection has evolved into two eastward-moving
clusters across northeast NM, while the earlier supercell across the
OK Panhandle has dissipated. While MLCINH continues to increase
across the region, any continued upscale growth may allow one or
more clusters to persist for a while overnight, with a continued
threat of isolated wind/hail. Additional development cannot be ruled
out across the western TX/OK Panhandles, which would likely be
somewhat elevated but still capable of producing isolated hail.
Given the potential for the severe threat to last beyond the 06Z
expiration time of WW 224, a local extension may need to be
considered.
