* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  TRAVIS COUNTY

* UNTIL 1245 PM CST

* AT 946 AM CST...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY
RAIN ENDING OVER THE CITY OF AUSTIN...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS RAIN WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND
UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.

FLOOD WATERS ARE MOVING DOWN SHOAL CREEK...BARTON CREEK...AND
SLAUGHTER CREEK WITH OTHER SMALLER STREAMS BECOMING FLOODED AS WELL.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
