THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EDWARDS COUNTY
  VAL VERDE COUNTY

* UNTIL 1100 AM CST

* AT 734 AM CST...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY       
  HEAVY RAINS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH OVER MUCH OF EDWARDS COUNTY 
  AND OVER THE EASTERN HALF OF VAL VERDE COUNTY. RAINFALL RATES
  UP TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR COMBINED WITH SATURATED GROUNDS FROM 
  PREVIOUS RAINS WILL LIKELY PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF CREEKS 
AND STREAMS...ROADS AND ROADSIDE CULVERTS. NUMEROUS LOW WATER 
CROSSINGS OVER EDWARDS AND VAL VERDE COUNTY WILL BECOME FLOODED. 
MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT DRIVE INTO WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH AS MOST FLASH 
FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR THIS WAY.
