THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  MEDINA COUNTY
  BANDERA COUNTY
  UVALDE COUNTY

* UNTIL 600 AM CST

* AT MIDNIGHT CST...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY
  HEAVY RAINS FROM 10 MILES SOUTH OF UVALDE TO 3 MILES NORTH OF
  PIPE CREEK...OR FROM 9 MILES NORTH OF LA PRYOR TO 9 MILES EAST
  OF BANDERA...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS ARE TRAINING OVER THE SAME AREAS ACROSS PARTS
OF UVALDE...MEDINA...AND BANDERA COUNTIES WITH RAINFALL RATES OF 2
TO 3 INCHES PER HOUR POSSIBLE. RAINS FROM THESE THUNDERSTORMS HAVE
ALREADY FLOODED THE CITY OF LACOSTE WITH NUMEROUS ROADS CLOSED AND
SOME WATER RESCUES IN PROGRESS.

RADAR TRENDS SUGGEST HEAVIEST RAINS WILL SPREAD NORTH INTO NORTHERN
UVALDE COUNTY AND MUCH OF MEDINA COUNTY THROUGH 2 AM. WITH GROUNDS
SATURATED FROM PREVIOUS RAINS...AS LITTLE AS AN INCH OF RAIN COULD
PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
