The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of 
  Parts of central and northeast Alabama
  Parts of west central and northwest Georgia

* Effective this Saturday afternoon and evening from 455 PM until
  900 PM CDT.

* Primary threats include...
  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2
    inches in diameter possible
  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

SUMMARY...Scattered splitting supercells will persist through the
remainder of the afternoon into this evening, with an attendant
threat for large hail and isolated damaging gusts.

The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 65
statute miles north and south of a line from 20 miles west southwest
of Birmingham AL to 15 miles east southeast of Atlanta GA. For a
