The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Bolivar County in northwestern Mississippi...
* Until 200 PM CDT.
* At 1032 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. This is on top of the heavy rainfall since Tuesday.
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Doppler radar.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Cleveland, Shelby, Shaw, Rosedale, Scott, Mound Bayou, Renova,
Boyle, Benoit, Lamont, Merigold, Duncan, Beulah, Pace and
Winstonville.
Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible in the
