The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Leake County in central Mississippi...
  Neshoba County in east central Mississippi...
  Southern Winston County in east central Mississippi...

* Until 1215 PM CDT.

* At 810 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Doppler radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
           drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Philadelphia, Carthage, Edinburg, Nanih Waiya, Pearl River, 
  Dowdville, Madden, Renfroe, Dixon, Burnside, Stallo, Singleton, 
  Tuscola, Forestdale, Thomastown, Walnut Grove, Noxapater, Lena, 
  Standing Pine and Redwater.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the 
warned area.

duration moderate rain may cause some roads to flood. Please

AFTERNOON FOR LEAKE AND NESHOBA COUNTIES...

At 944 AM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain across the 
warned area. Between 2 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. Flash 
flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Emergency management.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
         drainage and low lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Philadelphia, Carthage, Edinburg, Nanih Waiya, Pearl River, 
  Madden, Dowdville, Renfroe, Dixon, Singleton, Tuscola, Burnside, 
  Stallo, Thomastown, Forestdale, Walnut Grove, Lena, Standing Pine,
