* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Western Leflore County in north central Mississippi...
  Sunflower County in northwestern Mississippi...

* Until noon CDT.

* At 837 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Doppler radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
           drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Indianola, Ruleville, Moorhead, Itta Bena, Drew, Parchman, 
  Sunflower, Inverness, Blaine, Holly Ridge, Swiftown, Rome, Morgan 
  City and Doddsville.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the 
warned area.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CDT TODAY FOR 
WESTERN LEFLORE AND SUNFLOWER COUNTIES...

At 938 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 
rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have 
fallen. This is on top of what has fallen since Tuesday. Flash 
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Doppler radar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Indianola, Ruleville, Moorhead, Itta Bena, Drew, Parchman, 
  Sunflower, Inverness, Blaine, Holly Ridge, Swiftown, Rome, Morgan 
  City and Doddsville.
