UNTIL 230 PM CDT...

At 127 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm very
near Riga, or 12 miles southeast of Wakeeney, moving east at 25 mph.

Nickel size hail and wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Hays, Wakeeney, Ellis, Victoria, Catherine, Ogallah, Walker, Munjor,
Emmeram, Voda, Yocemento, Toulon, Trego Center, Riga, Turkville and
Hays Regional Airport.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
central and west central Kansas.
