THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  COMAL

* UNTIL 830 PM CDT

* SHOWERS WITH RAINFALL RATES UP TO THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH PER 
HOUR WERE MOVING NORTH THROUGH CENTRAL COMAL COUNTY AT 30 MPH.  THE 
LINE OF SHOWERS EXTENDS SOUTH FOR ABOUT 50 MILES.  THE SHOWERS 
MOVING OVER THE SAME ALREADY SATURATED GROUND RAIN WILL AGGRAVATE
FLASH FLOODING.    

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE 
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS 
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. 
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR
CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS. CAMPERS SHOULD AVOID
CAMPING ALONG STREAMS OR CREEKS DURING THREATENING RAINS.
