THE PRIMARY THREAT WILL BE STRONG WINDS AND FLASH FLOODING...WITH DAMAGING HAIL POSSIBLE THIS EVENING AND SATURDAY AFTERNOON. A VIGOROUS UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WAS MOVING ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS THIS EVENING AND INTERACTING WITH A MOIST...UNSTABLE ATMOSPHERE AND A WEAK FRONTAL BOUNDRY. ANOTHER DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS ON SATURDAY AND WILL LIKELY PRODUCE ANOTHER ROUND OF THUNDERSTORMS. STEERING CURRENTS ARE WEAK...SO THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE SLOW-MOVING WHICH WILL LEAD TO THE POTENTIAL FOR LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AND FLASH FLOODING. RAINFALL AMOUNTS THROUGH SATURDAY WILL AVERAGE 1/2 TO 1 INCH WITH LOCAL TOTALS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES POSSIBLE. THE HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK NORMALLY WILL BE UPDATED BY MEANS OF THE ZONE FORECASTS...SHORT TERM FORECAST...WATCHES...WARNINGS... AND ADVISORIES.
