TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM EDT
FOR THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN WEST PENNSYLVANIA
 
   ...WESTMORELAND COUNTY
 
WEATHER RADAR SHOWED A SHORT LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM JUST
SOUTH OF MONROEVILLE THROUGH THE MCKEESPORT AREA. THESE STORMS WERE
MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10 MPH. TTHERE ARE STILL INDICATIONS OF TORNADO
FORMATION ALOFT AND MORE SPOTTER REPORTS OF FUNNEL SIGHTINGS JUST EAST
OF BRADDOCK HILLS. THE WORST OF THE STORM COULD PASS BETWEEN TRAFFORD
AND IRWIN IN WESTMORELAND COUNTY.
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. TAKE COVER INDOORS.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...
DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR SAFETY GO TO AN INTERIOR
ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR BUILDING. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN
PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE ADVANCE WARNING. HEAVY RAINS CAN
QUICKLY CAUSE FLOODING. DO NOT CROSS WHERE WATER COVERS YOUR PATH.
