THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PITTSBURGH HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  930 PM EDT
FOR THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN WEST PENNSYLVANIA
 
   ...ALLEGHENY COUNTY
 
RADAR SHOWED THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR BRADDOCK HILLS WITH STILL
INDICATIONS OF A TORNADO DEVELOPMENT. THERE HAVE BEEN SPOTTER REPORTS OF
FUNNELS. THE STORM WAS MOVING MORE NORTHEAST AT 10 MPH AND THE WORST OF
IF COULD BE IN THE PITTSBURGH EAST HILLS.
 
THIS STORM ALSO HAS LOTS OF LIGHTNING. PLUS TORRENTIAL RAINS WHICH CAN
CAUSE FLASH FLOODING.
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. TAKE COVER INDOORS.
 
DO NOT USE YOUR CAR TO OUTRUN A TORNADO.  IF CAUGHT IN THE PATH OF A
TORNADO...LEAVE THE CAR AND GO TO A STRONG BUILDING.  IF NO STRUCTURE
IS NEARBY...LIE DOWN IN A DITCH OR LOW SPOT.
