THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PITTSBURGH HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  900 PM EDT
FOR THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN WEST PENNSYLVANIA
 
   ...ARMSTRONG COUNTY
 
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IS EXTENDING THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING UNTIL
900 PM FOR ARMSTRONG COUNTY. SOME FLOODING IS STILL BEING REPORTED IN
SOUTHWESTERN ARMSTRONG COUNTY WITH SOME ROADWAYS STILL CLOSED AND HOMES
STILL FLOODED.  RUNOFF FROM THE HEAVIER RAINS EARLIER WILL CONTINUE FOR
A TIME.  WATER IS RECEDING ALONG BUFFALO CREEK AND CONTITIONS WILL
CONTINUE TO IMPROVE THROUGH THE EVENING.
 
4.21 INCHES OF RAIN WAS REPORTED TODAY 3.5 MILES NORTH OF KITTANNING.
 
 
DO NOT DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.  THE WATER
MAY BE TOO DEEP TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT
IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
