FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  730 AM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...WESTERN BASTROP COUNTY...BURLESON COUNTY...LEE COUNTY
   ...MILAM COUNTY...CALDWELL COUNTY
 
AT 315 PM...THE BURLESON COUNTY SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT REPORTED ALL ROADS
CLOSED IN AND OUT OF BURLESON COUNTY DUE TO EXTENSIVE FLOODING.
WILLBARGER CREEK ON HIGHWAY 1704 IN WESTERN BASTROP COUNTY WAS OVER
THE BRIDGE WITH HEAVY RAINFALL MOVING INTO WESTERN BASTROP COUNTY.
 
A LARGE AREA OF RAIN WILL CONTINUE THE THREAT FOR FLASH FLOODING UNTIL
THE EARLY MORNING.
 
MOST DEATHS IN FLASH FLOODING OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A. FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A
SMALL ONE...ON FOOT.
