- Heavy Rain in Florida, September 9 to 10, 2024A surface front was stalled across north-central FL as high pressure across the mid-Atlantic area shifted southward. Breezy onshore winds and above normal moisture continued to bring waves of heavy coastal showers.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Texas, September 10, 2024Late afternoon and evening rainfall on September 9th, associated with outer bands from approaching Tropical Storm Francine, saturated the ground from Brownsville to South Padre Island.
- Flood in Florida, September 10, 2024A frontal boundary stalled over Central Florida brought a warm and very moist airmass over South Florida, which combined with ample lift from mid-level troughing to develop widespread slow-moving showers and thunderstorms over the area during the afternoon and evening.
- Hurricane and Tropical Storm in Louisiana, September 11 to 12, 2024Francine originated from a tropical wave that emerged off the West coast of Africa on August 28th. The wave traversed the tropical Atlantic Ocean with minimal organization, reaching the Leeward Islands by September 1st.

Thermodynamic and kinematic ingredients were sufficient for a few strong thunderstorms, mostly across Southwest Montana.

- Flood and Strong Wind in Tennessee, September 12 to 15, 2024Hurricane Francine made landfall in Louisiana on September 11, 2024, and then moved into the southeast United States. While its path remained to the west of Middle Tennessee, heavy rainbands did bring rain to portions of the area.
- Tropical Storm and Flash Flooding in Mississippi, September 12 to 16, 2024Tropical Storm Francine made landfall in southern Louisiana on the evening of September 11th, 2024. The weakening storm produced strong wind damage as it moved across central Mississippi the morning of September 12th, 2024.
- Flash Flooding and Hail in Alabama, September 12 to 15, 2024Hurricane Francine made landfall along the Louisiana coast during the afternoon of September 11. Downgraded to a tropical depression as it moved northward through Mississippi the next day, Francine brought gradient wind gusts of 30-40 mph to Central Alabama.
- Flash Flooding and Damaging Wind in Florida, September 12 to 15, 2024Several showers and thunderstorms developed in association with the remnants of Hurricane Francine and a stalled frontal boundary. Several areas of rotation were detected, but no tornado touchdowns were reported. There was one report of a tree down in Walton county.

- Flooding in Alaska, September 13 to 15, 2024A strong area of low pressure caused wide spread coastal and riverine flooding across the lower Kuskokwim Valley. The gale force winds enhanced high tides and backed up flow from the Kuskokwim River, flooding numerous communities along the river.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Alabama, September 13 to 15, 2024As the remains of Tropical System Francine slowly meandered through the mid South, a persistent band of showers and thunderstorms produced very heavy rainfall totals over the two day period from the 13th into the 14th.
- Flood in Florida, September 13, 2024High atmospheric moisture levels across South Florida, sea breeze convergence, and storm motion from west to east, resulted in showers and thunderstorms affecting the SE Florida coast during the late afternoon and evening hours.
