Frequent gust of 50 to 55 MPH were recorded along Interstate 80 from WYDOT sensors. A maximum gust of 61 MPH from a WYDOT sensor at Halleck Ridge was recorded at 2:02 PM MDT on 4/2.
Peak snowfall report was from Medicine Bow SNOTEL (MBSW4) with 24.9 inches through the event. Several other SNOTELs reported snow accumulations above 12 inches.
Peak snowfall reported in the Sierra Madres came from the Old Battle SNOTEL (OLDW4) with 18.5 inches. Several other SNOTELs reported heavy snow accumulations above 10 inches.
Frequent gusts between 60 and 65 MPH were recorded at the Bordeaux WYDOT sensor along Interstate 25. The maximum gust was 68 MPH and occurred at 7:42 AM MDT on 4/3.
Frequent gust of 55 to 60 MPH were recorded in central Laramie County. A maximum gust of 64 MPH from the Cheyenne Airport ASOS was recorded at 9:23 PM MDT on 4/2.
A maximum wind gust of 71 MPH was observed at a UPR sensor (14 WSW Cheyenne) at 1:40 AM MDT on 4/3.
Multiple sensors recorded wind gusts between 60 and 70 MPH along Interstate 80. A WYDOT sensor at Lone Tree recorded a maximum wind gust of 75 MPH at 4:16 AM MDT on 4/3, and UPR sensor 2 miles WNW of Buford measured 80 MPH at 4:14 AM MDT.
