The official observation at the NWS office in Negaunee Township from 7 PM on the 15th to 1 PM on the 16th was 14 inches and counting. Other public reports included 13 inches by 8:30 AM on the 16th 4 miles northeast of Negaunee, 14.5 inches 5 miles north of Negaunee by 10 AM on the 16th, 18 inches 8 miles north of Negaunee by 1 PM on the 16th, and 12 inches estimated 9 miles south-southeast of Big Bay by 7 PM on the 16th. A public report 3 miles west of Sundell reported 16 inches of total snowfall from 7 AM on the 19th to 8:30 AM on the 20th, with 11 inches falling by 9 PM on the 19th and the remainder falling overnight into the following morning. Visibility was sharply reduced on M28 between shot point and Harvey the morning of the 19th. Key impacts: travel delays.
