An observer in Ironwood measured 22 inches of lake enhanced snow over an approximate 45-hour period.
The Marquette National Weather Service in Negaunee Township measured 11.7 inches of lake enhanced snow in 36 hours. The spotter in Big Bay measured over 9 inches of snow over a two-day period ending on the afternoon of the 18th. Schools throughout the county were closed on the 17th.
The observer at Bergland Dam measured 15.4 inches of lake enhanced snow in 24 hours.
Lake enhanced snowfall reports over 24 hours included 15.5 inches at Painesdale, 10-12 inches at Twin Lakes and Hancock and 8 inches at Redridge. The Painesdale observer reported a storm total snowfall of 23 inches from the evening of 16th into the morning of the 18th.
The observer at Herman measured 19 inches of lake enhanced snow in approximately 30 hours.
