Heavy snow off Lake Superior fell across northern Bayfield County from mid day on January 29th through the early morning hours of the 30th. Totals were generally around a half foot, with Port Wing receiving 7.2 inches, and Oulu with 6 inches. Lesser amounts were recorded across the Bayfield Peninsula.
