An alberta clipper system ushered in a reinforcing shot of cold air to the Great Lakes, resulting in another round of lake effect snowfall. A series of meso circualtions that moved down the lake assisted in the enhancement of the lake effect bands. Local accumulations of 6 to as much as a foot of snow was recorded in parts of Berrien county. Cassopolis reported 12 inches of total snowfall from the lake effect event.
