Brief moderate to heavy snow contributed to several traffic accidents on Interstate 90 from Coeur D'Alene to Kellogg. A total of 42 calls came into dispatch for crashes or slide-offs in Kootenai county alone. Most of the accidents occurred near the Rose Lake Junction, and between milepost 48 and 51 near the Kellogg and Smelterville areas.
