A canadian cold front brought colder air and upslope flow to the eastern Wind River Mountains and Foothills. Moisture off the Pacific Ocean spread over this dome of cold air producing heavy snowfall of one to two feet in the eastern Wind River Mountains. Snow accumulations in the foothills ranged from 8 to 12 inches.
