Strong wind gusts of around 40 mph and briefly heavy rain preceding and accompanying a cold frontal passage combined to knock down some weaker tree limbs and caused some minor wind damage in Monroe County. The peak wind gusts at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport and the Lehigh Valley International Airport were 40 mph and 39 mph respectively.
