Spotty heavy snow of 5-7 inches developed overnight across northern New Mexico. Numerous traffic accidents were reported early on the 6th with one fatality near San Felipe Pueblo when a man was struck and killed by another vehicle after he had escaped from the car he overturned on an snow packed curve.
