The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Tornado Watch for portions of 
  Eastern Colorado
  Western Kansas
  Southwest Nebraska

* Effective this Monday afternoon and evening from 1230 PM until
  800 PM MDT.

* Primary threats include...
  A few tornadoes possible
  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2.5
    inches in diameter possible
  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

SUMMARY...An outflow boundary will continue to modify and move
slowly northward across the region, serving as a focus for severe
thunderstorm development aside from a front that extends
southwest-northeast across the region. At least isolated locally
intense supercells are possible. This includes potential for large
hail along with the possibility of a few tornadoes, particularly
given the moist environment and influences of the low-level
boundaries across the region.

The tornado watch area is approximately along and 75 statute miles
east and west of a line from 10 miles west northwest of Mccook NE to
25 miles west southwest of Garden City KS. For a complete depiction

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
and possible warnings.

AVIATION...Tornadoes and a few severe thunderstorms with hail
surface and aloft to 2.5 inches. Extreme turbulence and surface wind
gusts to 60 knots. A few cumulonimbi with maximum tops to 500. Mean
storm motion vector 24025.
