The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Crawford County in east central Illinois...
  Clark County in east central Illinois...

* Until 1245 AM CDT

* At 649 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain moving into the warned area. The ground is already 
  saturated from previous heavy rainfall. Flash flooding is expected 
  to begin shortly.

This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 127 and 154.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 AM CDT FOR
CRAWFORD AND CLARK COUNTIES...

At 829 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding near 
Martinsville, where a bridge was under water. While there will be 
some breaks in the rainfall, periods of moderate rain this evening, 
combined with previous heavy rainfall, will cause a continued flash 
flood threat. Flash flooding is already occurring.

This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 127 and 154.
