  begin shortly.

At 810 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 
rain had moved through the warned area.  While there will be some 
breaks in the rainfall, periods of moderate rain this evening, 
combined with previous heavy rainfall, will cause a continued flash 
flood threat.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 57 between mile markers 143 and 202.
 Interstate 70 between mile markers 79 and 126.
 Interstate 72 between mile markers 126 and 155.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

COUNTIES...

At 920 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding in 
Jasper County. Portions of Route 49 from Willow Hill to Hunt City 
had water flowing over the road.  While there will be some breaks in 
the rainfall, periods of moderate rain late this evening, combined 
with previous heavy rainfall, will cause a continued flash flood 
threat. Flash flooding is already occurring.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 57 between mile markers 143 and 202.
 Interstate 70 between mile markers 79 and 126.
 Interstate 72 between mile markers 126 and 155.
