* Until 1245 AM CDT Sunday

* At 641 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. The ground is already saturated 
  from heavy rain over the past 24 hours.  Flash flooding is 
  expected to begin shortly.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 57 between mile markers 202 and 257.
 Interstate 72 between mile markers 157 and 182.
 Interstate 74 between mile markers 161 and 220.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 AM CDT FOR
EDGAR...PIATT...VERMILION...CHAMPAIGN AND DOUGLAS COUNTIES...

At 817 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding in 
Douglas County.  Route 45 near Tuscola was closed due to high water. 
While there will be some breaks in the rainfall, periods of moderate 
rain this evening, combined with previous heavy rainfall, will cause 
a continued flash flood threat. Flash flooding is already occurring.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 57 between mile markers 202 and 257.
 Interstate 72 between mile markers 157 and 182.
 Interstate 74 between mile markers 161 and 220.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

At 928 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding in 
Edgar County. Water was flowing over Route 49 near Kansas. While 
there will be some breaks in the rainfall, periods of moderate rain 
late this evening, combined with previous heavy rainfall, will cause 
a continued flash flood threat. 

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 57 between mile markers 202 and 257.
 Interstate 72 between mile markers 157 and 182.
 Interstate 74 between mile markers 161 and 220.
