THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  ATASCOSA

* UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST

* AT 953 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN
  12 MILES SOUTHEAST OF CHRISTINE...OR ABOUT 21 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
  JOURDANTON...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

* THE THUNDERSTORM WITH EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL BE...  
  OVER THE COMMUNITIES OF CAMPBELLTON...FASHING...AND PEGGY
  THROUGH 11 PM.

VERY HEAVY RAINFALL RATES UP TO 4 INCHES PER HOUR CAN BE EXPECTED 
WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS. DOPPLER RADAR HAS ESTIMATED HEAVY RAINFALL 
AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF 10 INCHES HAS ALREADY FALLEN ALONG THE 
ATASCOSCA-LIVE OAK COUNTY LINE NEAR WHITSETT. VERY DANGEROUS FLASH 
FLOODING CAN BE EXPECTED IN EXTREME SOUTHEAST ATASCOSA COUNTY.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
