REAGAN COUNTY IN TEXAS * UNTIL 400 AM CDT * AT 1256 AM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN ACROSS EASTERN REAGAN COUNTY. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 10 MPH. * SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED BY THIS FLASH FLOOD WARNING INCLUDE... BIG LAKE DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIDLAND TX 855 PM CDT SAT JUN 19 1999 ALMOST LIKE LAST WEEKEND...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE AFFECTING PARTS OF THE CENTRAL PERMIAN BASIN...INCLUDING KMAF. GENERAL ATMOSPHERIC DYNAMICS AND WINDS ARE LIGHT...THUS MUCH OF THIS ACTIVITY IS BEING CAUSED BY NUMEROUS OUTFLOW BOUNDARIES FROM PREVIOUS CONVECTION. THE LATEST IR SATELLITE ANIMATION SHOWS A RATHER IMPRESSIVE SIGNATURE OF THE ON-GOING STORMS OVER ANDREWS...MIDLAND AND ODESSA. OUR MAIN CONCERN FROM THIS ACTIVITY IS THE VERY HEAVY RAINS THOSE STORMS ARE PRODUCING...AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING. WE HOPE NOT FOR A REPEAT OF ANOTHER DIRECT CG HERE.
