SOUTHERN DAWSON COUNTY IN TEXAS MARTIN COUNTY IN TEXAS * UNTIL 100 AM CDT * AT 1057 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUES TO SHOW A LARGE AREA OF MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN WITH EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS OVER MARTIN AND SOUTHERN DAWSON COUNTIES. * SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED BY THIS FLASH FLOOD WARNING INCLUDE... GENERAL ATMOSPHERIC DYNAMICS AND WINDS ARE LIGHT...THUS MUCH OF THIS ACTIVITY IS BEING CAUSED BY NUMEROUS OUTFLOW BOUNDARIES FROM PREVIOUS CONVECTION. THE LATEST IR SATELLITE ANIMATION SHOWS A RATHER IMPRESSIVE SIGNATURE OF THE ON-GOING STORMS OVER ANDREWS...MIDLAND AND ODESSA. OUR MAIN CONCERN FROM THIS ACTIVITY IS THE VERY HEAVY RAINS THOSE STORMS ARE PRODUCING...AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING. WE HOPE NOT FOR A REPEAT OF ANOTHER DIRECT CG HERE.
