SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  245 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN EAST CENTRAL KANSAS
 
   ...ANDERSON COUNTY...FRANKLIN COUNTY
 
AT 2 AM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
EXTENDING FROM OTTAWA TO 40 MILES SOUTHWEST OF OTTAWA...OR NEAR
WESTPHALIA.
 
THE LINE OF STORMS WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH...AND SOME
OF THE TOWNS IN THE PATH OF THIS LINE OF SEVERE STORMS ARE GARNETT AND
OTTAWA.  LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS AR2E EXPECTED WITH THIS LINE OF
STORMS.
 
A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.
