THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  530 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...BEXAR COUNTY
 
AT 225 AM CDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF
THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN MOVING INTO WESTERN BEXAR COUNTY. AT THE
CURRENT RATE OF MOVEMENT THESE STORMS WILL MOVE ACROSS THE REST OF BEXAR
COUNTY WITHIN THE NEXT 1 TO 2 HOURS. ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINS WILL
CONTINUE TO ADD TO EXISTING FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS AND LOW WATER
CROSSINGS FOR THE NEXT FEW HOURS. ADDITIONAL RAINS OF 1 TO 3 CAN BE
EXPECTED DURING THE EARLY MORNING HOURS.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED
ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
