THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TOLEDO HAS ISSUED A
SMALL STREAM FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  345 PM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL OHIO
          ...SANDUSKY
 
AT 130 PM WEATHER RADAR INDICATED THAT THE RAIN HAD ENDED OVER MOST OF
NORTHWEST OHIO. HOWEVER...THE SANDUSKY COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
REPORTED THAT MANY SMALL STREAMS WERE STILL OVERFLOWING THEIR BANKS
AND CREATING PROBLEMS. SEVERAL ROADS ALONG THE SMALL STREAMS HAVE BEEN
CLOSED.
 
MANY OTHER SMALL STREAMS IN NORTHWEST OHIO ALSO CONTINUE TO RUN
HIGH...BUT NO SIGNIFICANT PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN REPORTED. ADDITIONAL
PRECIPITATION OVER NORTHWEST OHIO THIS AFTERNOON SHOULD BE LIGHT AND
MAY BE IN THE FORM OF FREEZING RAIN OR SNOW. MOTORISTS SHOULD USE
CAUTION.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
