SMALL STREAM AND URBAN FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 AM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL OHIO
          ...ERIE...HURON
IN NORTHEAST OHIO
          ...ASHTABULA...CUYAHOGA...GEAUGA...LAKE...LORAIN...MEDINA
 
OVER AN INCH OF RAIN FELL ACROSS MUCH OF THE LAKESHORE COUNTIES SINCE
MIDNIGHT. RADAR CONTINUED TO SHOW RAIN ACROSS THE LAKESHORE COUNTIES
AND IT WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES. STREAMS AND CREEKS THAT ARE IN FLOOD
WILL REMAIN THAT WAY AND OTHERS MAY START FLOODING. MANY ROADS ARE
ALSO UNDERWATER. SOME BASEMENTS IN LORAIN COUNTY WERE FLOODED. FLOODED
BASEMENTS ARE POSSIBLE.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
