THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AKRON HAS ISSUED A
SMALL STREAM AND URBAN FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  530 AM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
 
IN NORTHEAST OHIO
          ...SUMMIT...WAYNE
 
RAINFALL LAST NIGHT AND EARLY THIS MORNING HAS CAUSED STREAMS AND
CREEKS TO RISE TO NEAR BANKFUL LEVELS. AT 125 AM WEATHER RADAR
INDICATED HEAVIER RAINS BEGINNING TO MOVE OVER WAYNE AND SUMMIT
COUNTIES OF NORTHEAST OHIO. THIS ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL CAUSE SOME
STREAMS TO GO OUT OF THEIR BANKS.
 
A FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR NORTHEAST OHIO THROUGH THIS
AFTERNOON AND THE THREAT OF FLOODING WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE
AFTERNOON HOURS.
 
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CRO5SS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
