THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1225 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA...
 SOUTHEAST ANOKA...NORTHERN RAMSEY AND 
 NORTHERN WASHINGTON


AT.....1144 PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCED GOLF BALL SIZE
HAIL IN THE CITY OF BLAINE WHICH IS 15 MILES NORTH OF DOWNTOWN
MINNEAPOLIS.

CITIES IN THE PATH OF OF THIS STORM ARE CIRCLE PINES...WHITE
BEAR LAKE AND STILLWATER.

MOVEMENT WAS TO THE EAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 60
MPH..DESTRUCTIVE HAIL..DEADLY LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. ALSO
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH
LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED
TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.


A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURING OR IS
IMMINENT.  BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER
TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH
FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD
WATERS.  DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER
BEGINS RISING.
