000 TTAA00 KMSP 240001 TORMSP MNC053-003-123-240030- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED/EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MINNEAPOLIS MN 701 PM CDT THU JUL 23 1987 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 730 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA...NORTHEAST HENNEPIN...SOUTHERN ANOKA AND NORTHERN RAMSEY AT 655 PM CDT A TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN AT 101ST AND REGENT IN NORTHERN HENNEPIN COUNTY. OTHER FUNNEL CLOUDS WERE REPORTED IN SOUTHWEST ANOKA COUNTY OF EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA...OR BASICALLY 20 TO 25 MILES NORTHWEST OF DOWNTOWN MINNEAPOLIS. THE TORNADIC THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH. PERSONS IN ANOKA...BROOKLYN CENTER...FRIDELY...AND NEW BRIGHTON MUST SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION. ACT QUICKLY.
