THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES IS EXTENDED UNTIL
3AM CDT THIS FRIDAY MORNING...

EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA...CARVER...HENNEPIN...SOUTHERN ANOKA...
 SCOTT...RAMSEY...DAKOTA AND SOUTHERN WASHINGTON

THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO MOVE INTO THE FLOODED AREAS OF THE TWIN
CITIES METRO AREA BUT APPEAR TO BE DECREASING IN INTENSITY AND DRIFTING
MORE TO THE SOUTH OF THE METRO AREA. ALTHOUGH RAINFALL IS SLOWLY TAPERING
OFF...RUNOFF FROM THE HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO POUR INTO THE LOWER
LYING AREAS OF THE METRO AREA FURTHER COMPLICATING THE PROBLEMS IN
THE FLOODED AREAS.

WIDESPREAD FLOODING IS STILL OCCURRING IN THE METRO AREA AND PERSONS
IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD CONTINUE TO TAKE ALL PRECAUTIONS TO
PROTECT AGAINST THE FLOODING.

PERSONS SHOULD BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER
TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH
FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD
WATERS.  DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER
BEGINS RISING.
