THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 830 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA...EASTERN HENNEPIN...EXTREME SOUTHERN ANOKA...
 RAMSEY AND EXTREME NORTHERN DAKOTA


AT 753 PM CDT A FUNNEL CLOUD WAS REPORTED BY THE EDINA POLICE
DEPARTMENT AT THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAY 18 AND THE CROSSTOWN
IN EDINA. THE FUNNEL CLOUD WAS MOVING TOWARD THE EAST AT 30 MPH.
PERSONS IN THE TORNADO WARNING AREA INCLUDING THE CITIES OF
MINNEAPOLIS AND ST. PAUL MUST TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY. THIS
FUNNEL CLOUD COULD TOUCH DOWN AT ANYTIME...AND HAS A HISTORY
OF DAMAGE WITH.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE IN
THE PATH OF A TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE.
OTHERWISE..GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
POSSIBLE.  AVOID WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A
REINFORCED BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.
