000 TTAA00 KMSP 240029 TORMSP MNC053-003-123-240100- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED/EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MINNEAPOLIS MN 729 PM CDT THU JUL 23 1987 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 800 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA...HENNEPIN...EXTREME SOUTHERN ANOKA AND RAMSEY AT 725 PM CDT A TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN 4 MILES NORTH OF KSTP WHICH IS LOCATED ON THE MIDWAY IN ST. PAUL. ALSO ANOTHER TORNADO WAS TOUCHING DOWN AT THE SAME TIME IN THE CITY OF LONG LAKE IN WESTERN HENNEPIN COUNTY. BOTH OF THESE ARE IN THE TWIN CITIES METRO AREA OF EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA. THE FIRST TORNADO IS HEADING DIRECTLY FOR ST. ANTHONY. TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY. THE OTHER TORNADO IS HEADING TOWARD MEDICINE LAKE. THESE COULD BE KILLER TORNADOES. TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION. ACT QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE..GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE.
