   Moderate damage. Roofs badly stripped, mobile homes overturned or badly damaged, exterior doors lost, windows broken.

   Considerable damage. Roofs torn off well-built houses, frame homes shifted on their foundations, mobile homes destroyed, large trees snapped or uprooted, cars lifted off the ground.

4. EF3136 to 165 mph

   Severe damage. Whole stories of well-built houses destroyed, large buildings badly damaged, trains overturned, trees debarked, heavy cars lifted and thrown.

5. EF4166 to 200 mph

   Devastating damage. Well-built houses leveled, structures with weak foundations moved some distance, cars thrown and large missiles generated.

6. EF5over 200 mph

   Incredible damage. Strong frame houses swept off their foundations, car-sized missiles thrown more than 100 meters, steel-reinforced concrete badly damaged, high-rise buildings deformed.

   The survey recorded a tornado but could not put a number on it, most often because it crossed open country and damaged nothing a rating can be read from.

A series of upper-level short waves moved across the region in persistent, southwesterly upper-level flow combined with moderate instability and shear to produce several rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms across north and central Georgia. Some of these storms dumped 2 to 4 inches of rain over the area, resulting in isolated flash flooding.

A National Weather Service survey determined that an EF0 tornado with maximum winds of 85 MPH and a maximum path width of 200 yards touched down over a rural area of northern Walton County along Ike Stone Road NW near Waller Lake, snapping or uprooting several trees as it moved northeast. There was minor structural damage to a fence and a home between Beagle Run NW and Paul Verner Road NW where a few larger pines were snapped around the property as the tornado peaked in intensity. The tornado ended north of the Ike Stone Road NW after crossing Mt. Vernon Road NW. [5/3/21: Tornado #3, County #1/1, EF-0, Walton, 2021:011].
