- Dense Fog in Oregon, December 16 to 17, 2023Dense Fog in the Central Willamette Valley contributed to a aircraft accident. A small plane struck power pole and power lines near Independence, Oregon and crashed just outside airport grounds, killing all three people onboard.
- Dense Fog in Oregon, October 19, 2022A large crash occurred, involving at least 65 vehicles with one fatality, due to dense fog.
- Dense Fog in Oregon, January 4, 1999A single-car rollover occurred just west of Pendleton on Interstate 84 in fog and icy road conditions. All four occupants of the vehicle were injured in the rollover. As one of the victims was being loaded into an ambulance a semi-truck travelling on I-84 lost control.
- Dense Fog in Oregon, November 12, 2008A Butte Falls woman died early Wednesday 11/12/2008 when her minivan veered off Butte Falls Highway and struck a tree. Jackson County deputies identified the woman as Juanita Mae Moore, 66, of Broad Street.
- Dense Fog in Oregon, December 13, 2018A 26 year old Eagle Point man was killed when he was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Interstate 5 on foot. The accident occurred around 13/0615 PST near milepost 33 (Central Point, OR). It was dark and dense fog was reported in the area.
