Fog and ice caused at least 5 traffic accidents on Interstate 84 between between milepost 223 and 229. On Christmas Eve a car ran into the back of a parked semi-truck. The four occupants of the car were treated for minor injuries and released. On Christmas day at least four cars slid off the road and crashed into snow banks. No one was injured.
