SHORT WAVE EXITING THE AREA AND WEAKENING AS IT MOVES EAST. UPPER RIDGE AND ASSOCIATED SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE REBUILDING AFTER A BRIEF DECREASE TODAY. LATEST SATELLITE IMAGERY STILL SHOWING EXTENSIVE CLOUD COVER OVER MUCH OF THE AREA BUT BACK EDGE OF CLEARING LINE NOW SHOWING UP NICELY ALONG THE IDAHO/OREGON BORDER. DECREASING CLOUDS EXPECTED TO BE THE TREND TONIGHT WITH ALL SNOW SHOWERS ENDING. FOG COULD BE A PROBLEM IN SOME AREAS THAT RECEIVED SNOW TODAY. ESPECIALLY WITH CLEARING TAKING PLACE OVER THESE AREAS. BURNS OREGON ALREADY SOCKED IN OVER THEIR SNOW COVER AND THIS CONDITION MAY SPREAD EAST TOWARD THE LOWER TREASURE VALLEY AFTER MIDNIGHT. NEW MODELS SHOW A PRETTY NICE WINTER WEEKEND ON TAP WITH SOME SUNSHINE ON SATURDAY AND EARLY SUNDAY AND DAYTIME TEMPS NEAR 40F IN THE SNAKE PLAIN AND UPPER 20S AND LOWER 30S IN THE MOUNTAINS. NIGH TIME READINGS WILL BE COLD HOWEVER. NEXT FEATURE DUE ACROSS THE REGION SUNDAY WITH MOST OF THE ACTION GOING NORTH.
