- Cold in Oregon, January 1 to 11, 2017A low pressure system dropping south across the area and a trailing ridge of high pressure brought cold temperatures to Northwest Oregon. The cold temperatures lead to four fatalities in the Portland area.
- Cold in Oregon, February 2, 2025A Multnomah County Medical Examiner reported that a man died from hyperthermia on Feb 2, 2025 in the 97219 ZIP code.
- Cold in Oregon, January 5 to 6, 2004A three year old toddler was found dead outside his home at approximately 3:30 am on January 6th. The boy had left his house without winter clothing during the middle of the night.
- Cold in Oregon, November 12, 2018A 39 year old man was found deceased in an irrigation ditch in Medford on the morning of 11/12/2018. Evidence collected indicated that hypothermia was the cause of death. The low temperature in Medford that morning was 25 degrees.
- Cold in Oregon, January 4 to 5, 2004An arctic air mass moved south out of British Columbia, setting daily record low temperatures for January 5th. Meacham broke an all time record low temperature on the morning of January 5th, with a low temperature of -31 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cold in Oregon, December 18 to 24, 1998An extensive arctic airmass spread over the entire Pacific Northwest the week before Christmas. Temperatures fell sharply beginning December 18 and were coldest around the Winter Solstice December 21. High temperatures were only in the teens and 20s then.

- Cold in Oregon, August 30, 1999A deep trough with unseasonably cold air for late August brought snow and record low temperatures for the last two days of August. 1.5 inches of snow fell at an elevation of 6300 feet at Paulina Lake in Deschutes County.
- Cold in Oregon, December 8 to 21, 2005An extended subfreezing period with temperatures averaging 15 degrees below normal. Frost depths exceeded 8 inches and ice covered most ponds and rivers.
- Cold in Oregon, December 21, 1998An usually cold weather pattern developed over Southern Oregon beginning on 12/19. A Freeze warning was issued for Oregon zones 003, 007, 008 on 12/20 for forecast low temperatures more than 10 degrees below normal in zones 007, 008, and below freezing in 003.
- Cold in Oregon, September 26 to 27, 1999Reported low temperatures were in the middle teens to lower 30s. No frost was reported, but it probably did occur. The Silver Lake low was 18 degrees, which was 15 degrees below normal. However, temperatures this abnormally cold were likely not widespread.
- Cold in Oregon, April 1 to 2, 1999A Freeze Warning was issued at 1210 PST on 04/01/99 for the Rogue and Umpqua Basins in Southwest Oregon. Two stations in the Rogue Basin verified the Warning (see below), but no verification was obtained in the Umpqua Basin.
