- Storm Surge and Winter Storm in New Jersey, February 16 to 17, 2003The most powerful storm to affect New Jersey since the Blizzard of 1996 struck during the President's Day Weekend. One person in Middlesex County was directly killed after a canopy full of snow collapsed on him.
- Coastal Flood and High Wind in New Jersey, October 1 to 4, 2015A persistent onshore flow caused periods of heavy rain, strong to high winds, beach erosion, and minor to moderate tidal flooding to occur along the Atlantic coast of New Jersey and into Delaware Bay from the 1st through the 4th.
- Strong Wind in New Jersey, December 25, 2008A strong cold front moved across the Northeast during the early morning hours of December 25. Gusty northwest winds of 40 to 50 mph behind the front toppled a 40 foot tree onto a car traveling on the Garden State Parkway in Bloomfield, New Jersey, at approximately 0110EST.

- Strong Wind in New Jersey, October 16, 2005A strong northwest flow round a deepening low pressure system produced wind gusts to around 40 mph during the day on the 16th. Under normal circumstances, tree damage would be less, but the week of unseasonably wet weather loosened the soil.
- Coastal Flood and High Wind in New Jersey, November 11 to 14, 2009A powerful nor'easter produced wind gusts to nearly 60 mph, widespread moderate tidal flooding, heavy rain and severe beach erosion along the New Jersey coast from November 12th through the 14th. Initial damage estimates were placed at 180 million dollars.
