- Heavy Snow and Heavy Rain in Nevada, November 21 to 24, 2013A strong area of low pressure sat over the Desert Southwest for two days, bringing heavy rain and snow to portions of the Mojave Desert and southern Great Basin.
- Heavy Rain in Nevada, January 11, 2015An unseasonably warm Pacific storm system brought rain to the Mojave Desert.
- Flash Flooding and Damaging Wind in Nevada, August 2 to 4, 2017A push of monsoon moisture fueled an outbreak of thunderstorms with severe weather and flash flooding.
- Flash Flood and Damaging Winds in Nevada, July 19 to 20, 1998Severe thunderstorms moved into the Las Vegas Valley and nearby Lake Mead bringing wind gusts in excess of 60 mph and heavy showers which dumped between 1.50 and 2.25 inches of rain overnight.
- Flash Flooding and Dust Storm in Nevada, August 9 to 11, 2022Moist southeast flow fueled thunderstorms over southern Nevada. Several storms produced severe weather, and a few produced flash flooding.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Nevada, January 18 to 22, 2010A series of four Pacific storms pounded the Mojave Desert and southern Great Basin between January 18th and 21st with heavy rain and snow (which led to river flooding), locally high winds, and isolated severe thunderstorms.
- Dense Fog and Heavy Rain in Nevada, December 2 to 4, 2014A storm system brought rain and snow to much of the Mojave Desert and southern Great Basin on the 2nd. The leftover moisture and colder air in the wake of the storm produced patchy dense fog on the 3rd and 4th.
- Flash Flooding and Damaging Winds in Nevada, October 9 to 11, 2025The remnants of Pacific Hurricane Priscilla pushed tropical moisture into southern Nevada, fueling scattered thunderstorms. Several produced heavy rain and flash flooding, and a few produced severe weather.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Nevada, September 7 to 9, 2014A major surge of monsoon moisture aided by Hurricane Norbert just west of Baja California fueled an outbreak of thunderstorms over the Mojave Desert and southern Great Basin. Widespread flash flooding occurred.
- Winter Storm and Flood in Nevada, December 30 to 31, 2022The strongest winter storm of December passed through the region on the final two days of December. This storm initially produced very high snow levels near 9000 feet on 30 December.
- Lightning Strike and Heavy Rain in Nevada, May 1 to 2, 2018A low pressure system passing over the Mojave Desert brought isolated impacts from rain and thunderstorms to the Las Vegas Valley.
- Heavy Snow and Damaging Wind in Nevada, March 21 to 22, 2023Strong low pressure moving into the West Coast brought rain and isolated severe thunderstorms to the Mojave Desert, as well as heavy snow to the Spring Mountains.
- Flash Flooding and Avalanche in Nevada, December 19 to 24, 2010A series of storms fueled by a tropical moisture tap pounded the Mojave Desert and southern Great Basin for several days. Extremely heavy snow and widespread flooding resulted.
- Flash Flood and Flood in Nevada, January 4 to 6, 2008A powerful winter storm moved through the Sierra Nevada and western Nevada from January 4th through the 6th. Up to 10 feet of snow fell in the higher elevations of the Sierra with 1 to 2 feet in western Nevada.
- High Wind and Heavy Rain in Nevada, February 27 to 28, 2014A strong low pressure system brought high winds, heavy rain, and heavy mountain snow to portions of the Mojave Desert and southern Great Basin.

- Flash Flooding and Hail in Nevada, July 7 to 10, 2011Monsoon moisture lingered over the Mojave Desert and southern Great Basin, continuing to fuel thunderstorms. Some storms produced severe weather and flash flooding.

Some storms produced flash flooding, and isolated wind damage also occurred.
- Debris Flows and Hail in Nevada, September 1 to 4, 2023An upper level low over northern California yielded a cooler, wetter, and breezy pattern across the region through Labor Day weekend.
- Flash Flooding and Lightning Strikes in Nevada, October 19 to 20, 2010Another very strong upper level low pressure system brought more severe thunderstorms and flash flooding to the Mojave Desert.
- Heavy Rain in Nevada, July 28, 1996Heavy downpours from a thunderstorm which moved over the southeast part of the Las Vegas Valley produced local street flooding and resulted in the collapse of a warehouse store roof. No injuries occurred.
- Heavy Rain in Nevada, December 26 to 27, 1996Rain on top of snow put enough pressure on a roof of a furniture store in Carson City, causing it to collapse. The fallen roof buried about 1,000 pieces of furniture, causing considerable damage. Damage was also done to the sprinkler system.
- Flash Flooding and Heavy Rain in Nevada, July 25 to 26, 2019Moisture from the eastern Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of California moved northward around the periphery of high pressure centered over the Four-Corners region of the Rockies the 24th into the 25th.
- Flash Flood and Damaging Winds in Nevada, July 9, 2018The first monsoon moisture push of the season fueled isolated thunderstorms over the Mojave Desert. Some storms produced severe weather and flash flooding.
